Michael Jackson - Thriller

Thriller

Thriller is one of the best albums ever. From 1982, it is my favorite Michael Jackson album. The album was incredibly popular during the 80s and still is today. My favorite songs are "Beat It", "Billie Jean", "Thriller", "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'", "The Girl Is Mine", and "Human Nature", but all the songs on the album are good. Thriller 25 deluxe edition is from 2008 and has a lot of extras. There are seven bonus tracks, videos, live performances, and a 48 page color booklet. The lyrics to all the songs are also here. Some of the new songs are "Beat It 2008" (with Fergie), "Billie Jean 2008" (with Kanye West), "The Girl Is Mine 2008" (with Will.I.Am.), and "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' 2008" (with Akon). Thriller is a must hear album. I also like his Bad, HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I, and This Is It albums, and HIStory on Film, Volume II DVD.

...Hits has many songs by Phil Collins from the 80s and 90s. My favorite 80s songs are "Another Day in Paradise", "Easy Lover" (with Philip Bailey), "You Can't Hurry Love", "Two Hearts", "Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)", "One More Night", "Sussudio", and "In the Air Tonight". I also like the 90s song "True Colors".

This is a very big collection of songs by Billy Joel from the 70s to the 00s. Some 70s songs I like are "My Life", "Movin' Out (Anthony's Song)", "Piano Man", "Just the Way You Are", and "She's Always a Woman". The 80s songs "Uptown Girl", "You May Be Right", "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me", "Tell Her About It", and "We Didn't Start the Fire". I also like "Waltz No. 1 (Nunley's Carousel)" and "Invention in C minor", which is classical music. I also like his Glass Houses album.

Some of my favorites are "Woman in Love", "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)" (with Donna Summer), "The Way We Were", "Evergreen (Love Theme from A Star Is Born)", "My Heart Belongs to Me", "Guilty" (with Barry Gibb), "Memory" from the musical Cats. "Send in the Clowns" from the musical A Little Night Music, and "Somewhere" from the musical West Side Story. I also like her 1980 album Guilty.

This double album by Michael Jackson is from 1995. Disc 1 has many of his songs from the 70s to the 90s, and disc two has his new 90s songs. Some of my favorites on disc 1 are "Billie Jean", "Black or White", "Rock with You", "Bad", "Man in the Mirror", "Thriller", and "Beat It". Some of his new songs I like are "Scream", "They Don't Care About Us", "Earth Song", and "You are Not Alone". I also like his Thriller, Bad, and This Is It albums, and HIStory on Film, Volume II DVD.

Some of my favorites are "Space Oddity", "Fame", "The Jean Genie", "Life on Mars?", "Sound and Vision", "Ashes to Ashes", "Under Pressure", "Modern Love", "Let's Dance", and "Dancing in the Street". I also like his Let's Dance album.

This is a very strong album by Janet Jackson, even after her very good album before this; Control. From 1989, Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 has many of her best songs. Some of my favorites are "Rhythm Nation", "Escapade", "Miss You Much", and the ballad "Livin' in a World (They Didn't Make)". Many other songs like "State of the World", "Black Cat", and "Come Back to Me" are all very good. I also like her Control and Design of a Decade 1986/1996 albums, and her Live in Hawaii concert. Her 2008 album Discipline is on my New Music blog.

Like a Prayer

Like a Prayer is my favorite 80s Madonna album. The album is pop and dance-pop and has very good songwriting. My favorite song is "Like a Prayer". Other songs here are "Express Yourself", "Love Song", "Till Death Do Us Part", "Promise to Try", "Cherish", "Dear Jessie", "Oh Father", "Keep It Together", "Spanish Eyes", and "Act of Contrition". This is an album all Madonna fans will want to hear. I also like The Immaculate Collection album and Sticky & Sweet Tour concert. Her new 2008 album Hard Candy is on my New Music blog.

This Is It is a collection of Michael Jackson's songs from the 70s to the 90s. Many songs from his Thriller album are here. It also has demos of a few songs, the new song "This Is It", and a 36 page commemorative booklet. My favorite 80s songs are "Beat It", "Billy Jean", "Thriller", "Man in the Mirror", and "Smooth Criminal". His 90s hits "Earth Song", "They Don't Care About Us", and "Black or White". Many more of his songs are here. This is a nice collection to own for all Michael Jackson fans. I also like his Thriller, Bad, and HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I albums, and HIStory on Film, Volume II DVD.

Let It Loose is from 1987. An album of pop and Latin pop, it has some of her best songs. My favorites are "Anything for You", "Can't Stay Away from You", and "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You". Some other songs I like are "Let It Loose", "1-2-3", "I Want You So Bad", and "Betcha Say That". I also like her Greatest Hits album. Her Spanish language album Mi Tierra is on my World Music blog.

Whitney Houston's debut album is from 1985. It is my favorite album by her and has many of her best songs. The songs are R&B, pop, and soul, and all have great vocals. My favorites are "Saving All My Love for You" and "Greatest Love of All". Some other songs I like are "How Will I Know", "You Give Good Love", and "Hold Me" (duet with Teddy Pendergrass). A must hear album for all Whitney Houston fans.

From 1986, Control is Janet Jackson's third album. It is my favorite 80s album by her. It has many of her best songs. My favorites are "Nasty", "What Have You Done for Me Lately", and "When I Think of You". Other songs here are "Control", "You Can Be Mine", "The Pleasure Principle", "He Doesn't Know I'm Alive", "Let's Wait Awhile", and "Funny How Time Flies (When You're Having Fun)". Control is an album all Janet Jackson fans should hear. I also like Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 and Design of a Decade 1986/1996 albums, and her Live in Hawaii concert. Her 2008 album Discipline is on my New Music blog.
