Les Misérables: 25th Anniversary Concert

Les Misérables is one of the best musicals ever. From London's O2 Arena in October 2010, the 25th Anniversay Concert has a great cast with all wonderful performances. The show has a very big chorus and three video screens. The stage is also used for some sets. Les Misérables is set in 1815 in France, and follows the stories of Jean Valjean (who is first shown being released from imprisonment after serving 19 years) and many other characters in their struggle for redemption and revolution. Some of my favorite songs are "Prologue: Work Song", "Prologue: What Have I Done?", "I Dreamed a Dream", "The Confrontation", "Castle on a Cloud", and "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables". The original 1985 cast is also here and are brought on stage after the show ends and perform many songs with the current cast.

War is a funk band. Their songs are soul, funk, R&B, and other music genres. This collection has many of their songs from the 70s to the 90s. Some of my favorites are "Low Rider", "The Cisco Kid", and "Why Can't We Be Friends?". Some other songs I like are "L.A. Sunshine", "Spill the Wine", "Youngblood (Livin' in the Streets)", and "Tobacco Road".

LL Cool J - All World: Greatest Hits

All World: Greatest Hits

This is a great collection of LL's songs from the 80s to the mid 90s. My favorite songs are "I Can't Live Without My Radio", "Rock the Bells", "I'm Bad", "Going Back to Cali", and "I Need a Beat. "I Need Love" is a good rap ballad from 1987. "Doin' It" is a good 90s song. More 80s hip hop music is on my 80s Hip Hop blog.

From 1980, Glass Houses is my favorite Billy Joel album. Many of his popular 80s songs are here. Some of my favorites are "You May Be Right", "Don't Ask Me Why", "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me", "I Don't Want to Be Alone". Others here are "Sleeping With the Televison On", "C'etait Toi (You Were the One)", "Close to the Borderline", "Through the Long Night", "All for Leyna", and "Sometimes a Fantasy". I also like The Essential Billy Joel.

From 2008 in Buenos Aries, Argentina, Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour has many of her popular songs from the 80s to the 00s. Songs from her 2008 album Hard Candy are also here. Some of my favorites are "Candy Shop" (Medley), "Human Nature", "Into the Groove", "Vogue" (2008), "Borderline", "La Isla Bonita" (Medley), and "Like a Virgin".
